If you’re looking for HALO laser near me, you’re in the right hands at Fresh Face + Eye.
What does HALO™ Laser do?
HALO™ Laser treatment is the first hybrid fractional laser that delivers non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to the same microscopic treatment zone. Ablative wavelengths focus on the top layer of skin, while non-ablative wavelengths work on the deeper layers.
HALO offers the power of an ablative treatment without the pain or downtime. It’s great for most skin types, is tolerated better, and has less downtime compared to traditional lasers.
The environment can wreak havoc on our skin, from damaging UV rays to pollutants and chemicals, that leave skin looking older and duller. HALO Fractional Laser is truly a revolutionary treatment, restoring glow and revitalizing skin by eliminating some of the most tell-tale signs of aging, including age spots, wrinkles, and uneven skin texture.
With no surgery involved, the HALO laser treatment recovery is fast, with little to no downtime. It also actually restores the youthful structure of your skin, going right to the cause rather than just putting a bandaid on the problem. Your radiant (and rested!) self returns in no time.

How does HALO™ Laser treatement work?
The HALO™ Laser uses a combination of ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to repair the visible signs of aging. Use HALO Laser for wrinkles and fine lines, sun damage, discoloration, enlarged pores, poor texture and uneven skin tone. It’s particularly effective as it allows precise, controlled and safe treatments.
As you can see in our HALO Laser treatment before and after pictures, the treatment improves every aspect of your skin with minimum discomfort and minimal downtime.
Why should I have HALO™ Laser at Fresh Face + Eye?

HALO Laser Treatment vs Fraxel - what’s the difference?
It’s a question we hear a lot. Both are non-invasive treatments but with a difference.
Traditional fractional lasers, like Fraxel, treat layers of the skin, the epidermis (upper layer that contains our pigment-producing cells responsible for skin coloring) and the dermis (middle layer made up of collagen and elastin fibres that provide skin with strength, toughness, elasticity and pliability). Our epidermis thins as we age making blemishes more visible, while collagen and elastin in the dermis are gradually lost causing sagging skin and wrinkles.
Fractional laser treatment delivers a laser beam that is divided into thousands of tiny but deep columns of treatment into the skin. Within each column, old epidermal pigmented cells are expelled and collagen in the dermis is penetrated causing a reaction that leads to collagen remodelling and new collagen formation.
Fractional lasers, both ablative and non-ablative, have worked well, but ablative treatments (more effective) were painful and carried significant downtime. Non-ablative treatments had less pain and downtime, but delivered weaker results and required more treatments. Ablative and non-ablative treatments were separate.
HALO™ Laser is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser able to use both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to the same treatment area. Think of it as the best of both worlds, combining the deep structural improvements of ablative treatments with the faster healing of non-ablative treatments.
Does HALO work faster than traditional fractional laser?
Our patients who opt for HALO typically see faster results with less downtime, and often need one or two fewer treatments compared to fractional laser.
Does HALO Laser hurt?
HALO Laser treatment is a faster and more comfortable experience compared to traditional fractional laser treatments. Most of our patients report minimal discomfort. We also do all we can to ensure a pleasant experience, including applying a topical numbing cream before the treatment, and using a cooling mask or device immediately after the procedure when skin begins to feel flushed and warm. This passes after one to two hours.
How many HALO™ Laser treatments will I need?
Impatient patients: good news. Most of our patients see improvement after their first treatment, with best results after two to three treatments.
What improvement can I expect to see with the HALO™ Laser treatment?
Say hello to hydrated and glowy skin. HALO™ Laser improves wrinkles and fine lines, sun damage, freckles, pigmented areas, the appearance of enlarged pores, acne scars and melasma.
What is my downtime and when can I wear makeup?
In most cases, you can be back wearing makeup after 24 hours. The downtime is generally five to seven days of mild swelling, pinkness and textural changes in the skin. It depends on the goals of treatment and areas treated, but most of our patients feel comfortable returning to normal with the use of makeup after two to three days. Have a look at our HALO Laser recovery pictures here.
What other areas can be treated?
The most popular areas after the face are the neck, chest and hands. At Fresh Face + Eye, we can perform them at the same time as your face. The average cost of HALO™ Laser treatment with this varies.
How long does the procedure take to perform?
The duration varies depending on the skin condition being treated and how many areas are being targeted. Generally, the procedure itself takes approximately 25-45 minutes and numbing cream is applied one hour prior.
How often should I do HALO™ Laser treatments?
We recommend HALO™ Laser treatment once a year, with the ideal being one HALO and BBL 2-4 times combined annually.
If you’re looking to correct certain skin conditions, HALO™ Laser treatments may be required for the best results.
How much does HALO™ Laser cost?
This will be determined at your consultation.
